Choosing the right realtor is vital if you want to maximize the price you receive for your home, while at the same time, getting it sold in a reasonably short period of time. The marketing approach that your realtor takes is extremely important to the successful completion of this goal.
The following are just some of the many steps I will take to get your home sold:
- First I will start by evaluating what your home is worth in today’s real estate market. It may be worth more than you think. Pricing your home just right is important so that you can optimize your net proceeds while keeping it competitive in the marketplace.
- Helping you get your home ready for sale. If it needs some work, then I can offer names of contractors I have used recently. Also, I will offer advice, based on my years of experience, on what matters to buyers today so that they choose your home over others. This includes staging consultation, possible sprucing up suggestions, and general advice.
- I will then hire my professional photographer, and pay for it myself as part of my full service. A beautiful photo gallery is a “must have” in today’s competitive market. Buyers first shop online, and their first impression is the photo gallery.
- Marketing your home effectively and getting the word out to reach as many potential home buyers as possible. This means advertising, open houses, word of mouth, and many other methods. I will also make sure your home is on all the major real estate websites such as Zillow.com, Windermere.com, JohnLScott.com, ColdwellBanker.com, Craigslist.org, Redfin.com, and many others.

- Negotiating the sale. This is key. When an offer is made, you need a tough negotiator on your side. A good negotiator can mean a great difference in how much you receive at closing.
- Following the closing process. Once an offer is accepted, I will follow the transaction through to a successful conclusion. If there are any bumps along the way, I will make sure these are addressed and figure out how they can best be resolved.
